Have you ever heard those words above – YOU CAN’T DO THAT?
If you’ve ever set out to do something serious or phenomenal in/with your life, I bet you must’ve heard those a dozen times.
If that is right, then congratulations, it means at some point in your life, you have set out to do something really great. Sadly enough, some of us have never heard these words because we are afraid of hearing them; and as a result, many have stifled their God-given dreams because of the fear of “You Can’t Do That.”
This is what my mentor Robert Kiyosaki has to say about this:
“While teaching me how to turn my ideas into assets, rich dad often said,
“When you first set out to turn your ideas into your personal fortune, many people will say, ‘You can’t do that.’ Always remember that nothing kills your great ideas more than people with small ideas and limited imaginations.”
He said the Rich dad gave him two reasons he thought people tended to say, “You can’t do that.”
1. They say “You can’t do that” even if you are doing what they say you cannot do, not because you can’t do it but because they can’t do it.
2. They say, “You can’t do it” because they cannot see what you are doing.
Rich dad explained that the process of making a lot of money is a mental process more than a physical process.”
Having heard this, I challenge you to instigate more “You Can’t Do That” kind of comments, defy them and go ahead to prove that indeed YOU CAN DO THAT.
