I know what you’re thinking.
You’re probably thinking, “imagine that a whole FINTEL Coach does not have the money to subscribe and he’s coming to praise ‘Facebook without pictures’. Hian, who does that?” Lol. 😂
Well, you are entitled to your opinion and you may be correct or you may be wrong. Whatever the case, I’ll advise you don’t arrive at a conclusion yet until you finish reading.
I came to appreciate the magnanimity of Free Facebook since yesterday when I exhausted my GLO 12GB data subscription less than the 30 days it was supposed to last. And this is not the first or second time.
It got me thinking I was being extravagant. Don’t get me wrong, there are people that spend far more than I do so I am definitely not bragging.
There is a point I am trying to drive at.
Free Facebook allows you to access most of the features of Facebook EXCEPT viewing pictures and opening external links. It even allows you to make use of Facebook Messenger and chat all you want, all on a platter of gold.
Why then do people despise it?
Before now, I used to loathe the idea of Free Facebook, not necessarily because of not being able to see pictures but because I thought it was “degrading”. I believe there are lots of people who think the same way too. 😉
Many people are afraid of what people will say when they notice they’re browsing in “Free Mode”. They don’t want to be laughed at. As a result, they keep subscribing even if it means sipping garri in the hostel – like I do sometimes.
Have you ever done the maths on your data?
You need to sit down one day to calculate the amount of money you spend for data subscription annually. For me, it runs to the tune of N36k plus. Yours could be larger.
Gosh! Do you know that can buy me a fortune on the Stock Market?
For those “Internetpreneurs” on a LOW budget, here is Financial Intelligence:
DON’T BE AFRAID TO USE FREE FACEBOOK whether you have the money to subscribe or not…. more so when you don’t have the money for it.
As far as you are online and making your money, nobody gives a damn whether you’re in Free Mode or not.
Plus, you have the option of turning on the data anytime you want to view photos that are important to you. You’ll be amazed at the amount of money you will save.
Don’t allow the urge to impress people to kill your finances. Be wise with your money and know when to take advantage of “legitimately free things”.
That’s exactly what the rich do. They are always looking for opportunities to maximize the value they get for their money.
